一、說教材?！笆裁词敲娣e”是北師大版第六冊第四單元面積的第一課時。本課是在學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了長方形、正方形的特征以及它們的周長的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行教學(xué)的，是一維空間向二維空間轉(zhuǎn)化的開始，學(xué)生掌握好這部分內(nèi)容，能為他們進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)長方形、正方形的面積計(jì)算打下良好的基礎(chǔ)，同時也為整個小學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)幾何知識的學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ)。對物體表面大小的認(rèn)識，學(xué)生在生活中有較為豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和體會，因此教材在編排上充分利用學(xué)生已有的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)，分三個層次引導(dǎo)學(xué)生逐步認(rèn)識和體會。第一層次通過比較手掌、硬幣、樹葉、數(shù)學(xué)課本與語文課本等實(shí)物面積的大小，說說生活中物體表面的面積大小，讓學(xué)生獲得初步的面積概念。第二層次讓學(xué)生用不同方法比較一個正方形與一個長方形的面積，通過比較，既使學(xué)生進(jìn)一步豐富對面積概念的理解，又使學(xué)生體會到計(jì)量面積最基本的方法。第三個層次是通過在方格紙上畫圖的活動，進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識面積的含義，并體驗(yàn)一個數(shù)學(xué)事實(shí)，即面積相同的圖形，可以有不同的形狀。
